All Sklar Peppler Furnishings Stores are independently owned and operated. Their affiliation with Sklar Peppler Furniture Corporation are as licensees through a licensed operating agreement.
May I purchase directly from the manufacturer?

than 500 retail dealerships that can provide home furnishings expertise for you
and your family. These dealers are committed to providing you customized room
solutions that can express your life stage and style. All of our products are
sold exclusively through independent retail dealerships and national chains. We
leave the selling to the experts.
Can I purchase fabric or from you?
You can purchase Sklar
Peppler fabric from an authorized dealer. Sklar Peppler encourages consumers to
decorate to their hearts content. Our Coordinates
program, that is carried by 80 of our authorized dealers nationwide, is an
excellent example of purchasing fabric to complement your furniture with table
cloths, draperies and any place you can imagine. The authorized dealer’s design
expertise will be able to assist you with additional ideas or alternatives that
may fit your needs and will allow you to purchase the fabric you need.
A friend has a sofa that fits me
perfectly, but Sklar Peppler no longer produces that style. May I special order
it?
In an attempt to meet the various needs of our customers, we introduce new
products three times a year. Unfortunately, to make room for the new styles, we
must discontinue some as well. Once we have discontinued a style, we can no
longer produce it. Please be sure to visit an authorized Sklar Peppler dealer to
try some of the many other styles of furniture Sklar Peppler creates. A sales
associate will be able to assist you with a piece of furniture to fit your

How do I clean my fabric?
To
successfully clean fabric, it is important to determine the type of fabric and
the recommended cleaning code. This information can be found on the
identification tag with a cleaning code attached to the furniture. For any type
of cleaning, we recommend that a professional upholstery cleaner be contacted.
The following is a definition of the codes you
should follow:
WS:
Water-based cleaning agents and foam may be used for cleaning. This fabric may
also be cleaned with mild, water-free solvents.
W:
Water-based cleaning agents or foam may be used for cleaning.
S: Only
mild pure water-free dry cleaning agents may be used for cleaning fabric.
X: This
fabric should be vacuumed or brushed lightly to remove soil. WARNING: Do not
use foam or liquid cleaning agents of any type.
How do I care for my leather
furniture?
Sklar Peppler offers several different types of leather upholstery for its
furniture. If cared for properly, this natural material will maintain its beauty
and usefulness for many years. Direct exposure to strong light can cause any
leather to fade, so always protect leather from direct sunlight or other intense
light sources. Daily or weekly dusting and vacuuming with a brush attachment is
recommended for normal maintenance of leather. For detailed information
regarding our leather line and its care and maintenance, please refer to the
brochure attached to your leather furniture.
My dealer is going to charge me for labor to repair my furniture. Isn’t this
covered under my lifetime warranty?
It depends on when you purchased your furniture if labor charges are covered
under the Sklar Peppler Lifetime Warranty. To review warranty information,

The dealer is charging me
with a travel fee to come to my home. Isn’t this covered under my lifetime
warranty?
Sklar Peppler products are warranted by our “Everything Under the Cover is
Covered” Lifetime Warranty, which is the best warranty in the industry. We
warrant our top of the line patented foam cushion seating, state of the art
spring systems, and engineered hardwood frames for the lifetime of the product
to the original purchaser. While the dealers, who are experts in the field,
provide service under the warranty, there may be some additional charges such as
travel fees, and/or inspection fees that our warranty does not provide for.

If I have a question regarding billing or financing, who should I contact?
Please be sure to contact the independent retail dealer from whom you made your
purchase. Sklar Peppler Furniture Corporation does not handle billing or
financing for any of the authorized dealers. Since these dealers establish their
own policies and procedures regarding the terms of the sale, billing, financing,
etc., any questions regarding the sale of your furniture should be directed to

The tailoring on my furniture is not the same as the furniture in the dealer’s
showroom. Why?
Since our manufactured furniture allows for some tailoring tolerances, your
furniture may not look exactly the same as the furniture in the dealer’s
showroom. It is the dealer’s responsibility to ensure that your furniture meets
manufacturing specifications before it is delivered to you. If you have
questions regarding the tailoring of your furniture please contact the dealer
from whom you made your purchase for assistance.
